Crazy...

I am still tapping, selecting, filling, layering, rotating, and air-brushing in rosy cheeks...

TV is on every night... and I'm there in the room... But I'm pretty much absorbed into the little portable studio (a.k.a. iPad) on my lap. I've sent my first collection off to be printed and have started on Volume 2.

There has been a lot of exploring and experimenting going on... and I feel like I've only skimmed the top of what all I can do... that's what "DRAWS" (sic) me back over and over again.

My Guardian Angel

This is how I see my Guardian Angel... she's just launched off my shoulder in great joy!

She's doing somersaults in the air...

She loves me and all the joy that is in my life!

She's helping me get through the hard times at work, and the worries over my husband's health.

She's enjoying watching me draw on my iPad and helps me explore new tools in ArtStudio... she's asked that I avoid showing her bloomers next time and to get her wings right. They're really more transparent and slightly opalescent! Hm... whatta challenge! :)

I've asked her to give Mom and Dad hugs from me...

More iPad Fun

This is my favorite little NY gal, Lily! What a fun photo of her in action! I can just hear her squeals of joy :) What a little doll!

I played with ArtStudio last night and did a tracing of this photograph... I seriously only spent about 10 minutes on it, maybe less!

Here is the first drawing I did with the "mirror" tool on my iPad. Awwww...

This came in VERY handy when drawing the heart border on the Groundhog Valentine below...

Big Love

I did one more before turning in last night... ArtStudio has a "mirror" feature... So I drew one elephant, and it made the 2nd. A little modification and I have "Big Love" to share with you this Valentine's Morning! :)

I also discovered the circle making tool, so used it to make the pattern on "her" dress... I'm having way too much fun with this!

Valentine's Day, iPad Style!

I've been quite busy this weekend, creating and re-creating tons of artwork on my iPad. I discover new tools and techniques each time I work in the ArtStudio app! As much as I've enjoyed working with graphics on my computer - this just is a world beyond all that!

I do have a stylus, but prefer to use my fingers... it's so quick to zoom in, swap tools and colors, apply effects, and pan around the drawing. The iPad replaces so many tools, so much equipment! Everything I need is right there with me, all the time!

I've discovered working in layers - so that I can import old drawings (see the last two on this page), and then re-draw them... it's just FANTASTIC!

Ah... to sleep now, let my (iPad) battery recharge again, and give my numb and tingling left hand a rest! :) Happy Me!!!
