This is the infamous "Oil Spill" on our carpet...
After cleaning! ECO Steam did a fantastic job!
We did learn a few things...
- NEVER oil or spray silicone in your ball bearings... it breaks down the grease that is already in there, causing a black oozy mess!
- NEVER rub a stain... BLOT is the key
- Better yet, leave it alone and call a professional! It's worth it!
- Don't get angry - no one intended this to happen!
- Laugh as you learn... life's too short to sweat the small stuff.
- Tell your mess maker that you love him anyway and assure him you've done dumb stuff too like vaccuuming up cat litter and burning out a motor on your Oreck...
